Chungbuk Technopark is a regional innovation base institution that leads the economic growth of Korea
through industrial development and corporate development support.
In order to create high value for local industries,
Chungbuk Technopark has created and implemented a systematic and professional corporate growth support policy
and is working closely with local innovators.
Although a lot of customers relied on the public cloud,
due to security reasons, they did not feel safe to upload data and content to a public cloud.
To solve this problem, we implemented an Azure-based hybrid solution
with S.Pin Technology
and supported to solve the requirements quickly.
After building this hybrid environment,
we've also applied it to our smart education project,
which enables interactive special activities online for students
who are unable to attend face-to-face classes due to the pandemic.
Because we have data from companies with different businesses,
we needed an integrated cloud that was easy to secure or manage.
So, we chose Azure to quickly respond to these new demands.
Through Azure virtual machine, Chungbuk Innocraft service was launched.
We were able to provide an integrated management system
through Azure Arc for our existing GPU servers,
and this system supports metaverse creators
through a low-latency hybrid cloud
and also supports IoT device connectivity.
In addition, Azure Stack HCI, AKS, and Azure Machine Learning
also supported development for on-premises resources.
Through this, we have created a basis for attracting companies
that use artificial intelligence,
and we were also able to generate a huge amount of metaverse content in cooperation with companies.
For example, Chungbuk Innocraft,
which was based on Minecraft, which teenagers love
provided a learner-friendly online education environment through the metaverse environment.
Microsoft's XR solutions
enables Chungbuk Technopark
to implement "ecosystem creation"
for realizing its vision of a virtual economy
that Chungbuk Technopark is oriented towards.
Chungbuk Technopark had to lead the digital transformation
of local industries,
it needed a way to easily apply mixed reality (MR)
to industrial sites.
Microsoft's service called Dynamics 365
was the only solution
that could meet our needs,
and it was a very practical service.
Chungbuk Technopark intends to
apply and implement digital transformation
in various fields together with local companies
by providing a more extended and device-neutral solution
on the metaverse platform through Microsoft Mesh.
In addition, to support local startups
We also established a new metaverse hub.
We are trying to build
data center and also cloud infrastructure to support this.
Chungbuk Technopark trusts Microsoft and its partners.

to provide stable and comfortable services to businesses,
thereby fulfilling the function of a digital transformation hub
for the development of local industries.
