In late September 2024, Microsoft officially welcomed nearly 30,000 Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts and roughly 600 Microsoft Showcase Schools for the 2024-2025 academic year. Educators accepted into these programs represent a dedication to transforming educational institutions with technology, innovation, and new skills. We\u2019re elated to be in community with these educators and look forward to a year full of new connections and learning opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New this year: The Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts and Microsoft Showcase Schools programs are now being supported by the Microsoft Philanthropies<\/a> team. The programs are highly valued and are being supported this year in strong collaboration from teams across Microsoft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first half of 2025, you\u2019ll have the opportunity to join nearly 30,000 educators in our MIE Expert community. You can get started by joining the Microsoft Learn Educator Center<\/a>, where you can access free professional development and resources to support your growth as an educator! Once you join, start working to earn your Microsoft Educator and Advanced Educator badges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nominations to become an MIE Expert are expected to open in May 2025. Prepare for your nomination by learning more about how to join the MIE Expert program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
