Microsoft Research Asia Update

Since its founding in 1998, Microsoft Research Asia has expanded its areas of research by recruiting great people and creating a culture in which they can thrive and by working closely with professors and students from academic institutions across the Asia Pacific region.

In this keynote address from Asia Faculty Summit 2012, Hsiao-Wuen Hon, managing director of Microsoft Research Asia, discusses the Asia lab’s research areas, recent research as well as some projects that showcase the lab’s work in a wide array of disciplines.
