Quintain brings properties to life with help from Simply Dynamics and Microsoft Dynamics 365

With vast experience in every aspect of property development, construction, and finance, Quintain plans, creates, and delivers innovative communities that improve the standard of living in Ireland. As part of its launch there in 2019, the Quintain team wanted to implement a new financial management system. One of the key drivers of this project was to select an effective financial solution to meet rapid deployment and go-live requirements. A key requirement for the financial system selection was that Quintain wanted a public cloud-hosted system to enable it to benefit from continuous automatic upgrades, as well as a solution with full security compliance for systems and data.

Simply Dynamics presented a clear solution and a proven implementation methodology with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and was chosen as Quintain’s preferred partner to help it with a financial management solution. Deployment included Business Central add-ons for fast and easy integration.

A unified, adaptable solution

Business Central is now Quintain’s financial management process hub. Its built-in automated purchasing and approval workflows enable fast and flexible approvals across various transaction types. It offers a wide variety of add-ons to enhance functionality, such as Continia Document Capture, which lets Quintain employees import, register, approve, and archive invoices and credit memos, all within Business Central.

Quintain also takes advantage of real-time employee expenditure tracking with Continia Expense Management. It provides easier registration and approval of business-related expenses and travel activities. Simply Dynamics also implemented Citibank payment integration, along with Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT) controls, which is a legal requirement for companies like Quintain that are involved in Ireland’s construction sector. This real-time reporting and analysis gives Quintain greater business insights and enables data-driven decision making.
