I am a Senior Applied Scientist at Microsoft studying human-AI collaboration and the future of work. As a member of the IDEAS Research team led by Scott Counts, I investigate how AI can empower people and organizations to achieve their goals while preserving human agency, learning, and motivation.
Prior to Microsoft, I earned a Ph.D. in Computational Cognitive Science from UC Berkeley, where I used behavioral experiments and computational modeling to understand the key to flexible, open-ended reinforcement learning in humans and machines.
