Hi! I am Swapnanil, a Research Fellow at MSR India working with Tanuja Ganu and Vineeth Balasubramaniam on multimodal learning and reasoning. My research interests are in multimodality, grounded and verifiable reasoning, and neurosymbolic methods. I graduated from Ashoka University (opens in new tab) with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. For my undergraduate thesis, I worked on developing a decompositional entailment tree-based reasoning engine for grounded and verifiable visual question answering.
