About
Dr. Xinjie Zhang is a Senior Researcher at Microsoft Research Asia. He received his B.Eng. degree in Electronic Information Engineering from South China University of Technology (SCUT) in 2021, and his Ph.D. degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2025.
His research interests include agentic media, multimodal understanding and generation, the pre-training and post-training of large models, spanning LLMs, VLMs, image/video generation, and world models.
Internship: I am looking for highly motivated interns with strong coding skills, a passion for research, and a solid background in the pre-training or post-training of large models (LLMs, VLMs, image/video generation, and world models).
